A sell out crowd filled the Torquay Wine Store for the VIP Opening Night of Tal’s Exhibition, Tales of the Sea. The exhibit showcased a collection of some of the artist’s stand out images from his time capturing photographs. The exhibit pays homage to Tal’s last 5 years, capturing fractal moments whilst immersed in the deep blue. The images on dispay depict local oceans moods along the Great Ocean Road, whilst also featuring seas from the South Coast of New South Wales, to the Great Australian Bight in South Australia.

Further to the sold out VIP exhibition, the event drew the attention of local media sources Surf Coast Times and Forte Magazine in support of his seascape photography endeveours. The evening was made complete by captivating live music from the talented group, Suneden and delicious array of wines and beers, including local Bells Beach Brewery, combined with a great selection of cheese and charcuterie from the Torquay Wine Store.

The duo have some exciting events planned, where they will be supporting local artists I’m a big believer of collaboraton and am really excited to be apart of the genesis of the Torquay Wine Store’s new initiative, ‘The Artist’s Series’. I am grateful to be invited as the first artist, entwining boutique wines from over the globe with local surf coast art.”

Tales of the Sea exhibit will be open for two weeks from the 15th to the 29th of June, 2023 and will be guided by the Torquay Wine Store’s opening hours. All peices of art on display are available for purchase, please make Contact with Tal if you would like make a purchase.
