For the second year in a row, I’ve been grateful to have been awarded an Honourable Mention in the prestigious APA Annual Photography Awards for 2022 in the Fine Art Abstract catergory for my image, ‘Argent’. 

Argent, for me encapsulates my technical skills with a camera. This particular style of photography is known as slow shutter and is often created with a tripod for stability. However in my case, I stablise myself with my flippers, whilst swimming and holding my water housing & camera as still as possible which allows for the sharp, yet still motion blur aspects in the image. These images are best captured in low light, right on sunset or sunrise. 

In 2021, both my images ‘Precipice’ & ‘Ark’ secured Honourable Mentions in the Abstract categories of the APA Annual Photography Awards. I’m pleased to have secured the judges attention for two years in a row with my artisrty.
