AFFORDABLE ART FAIR - MELBOURNE 2022.
And that’s a wrap - what a wild four days! Tal was invited under the banner of Martinich & Carran, to join five other Torquay, Victoria based artists in the Affordable Art Fair Melbourne 2022. Tal's award winning fine art photography was a highlight of the Torquay artists stand, attracting art buyers from across Victoria. The contemporary art fair, which was held at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre, attracting offical numbers of 17,000 people to view work from artists from all over the globe. Galleries such as Fenton & Fenton, Toowoomba Gallery and many more participate in the four day art buyers event.
Tal presented art buyers with a limited Edition 1 of 5 ‘Environmental & Sustainable Series’ for the Affordable Art Fair, where his images ‘Apex’, ‘Precipice’ & ‘Portal’ where printed on Hahnemühle Bamboo Natural Line, rated the best inkjet paper in the world in 2020 by TIPA (Technical Image Press Association). Each image was printed by aeternalab.com at 1x1.5 metres, and was beautifully framed in handcrafted sustainably sourced Tasmanian oak timber, behind museum grade UV resistant gallery glass. Each buyer of the limited edition series gained exclusive access to a members only, Certificate Authentication section of Tal’s website, documenting their purchase. The limited edition series of ‘Precipice’ sold out completely, leaving other buyers the opportunity to purchase ‘Apex’ and ‘Portal’ in the limited edition series.
